About Kewordal

Kewordal (https://kewordal.com) is an innovative social education platform designed to connect learners and educators in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Our users create "Kewordal lists" to improve their academic results while building social learning communities of friends, peers, teachers, and mentors (via the support of businesses), to enhance their prospects for success. We have recently concluded a successful testing/MVP period and are currently implementing exciting updates to our site, preparing for launch in the coming months.

 

We are now seeking a talented Project Manager Scrum Master to join our mission of bringing our educational innovation to market and connecting learners worldwide. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience to leverage your product management and agile leadership skills in the Tech for Good space, driving product excellence and successful market entry!

 

What You'll Do

As Project Manager Scrum Master, you’ll:

  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Run sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to drive team momentum and delivery quality.

  • Coach & Enable the Team: Foster agile best practices across development, design, and business functions—encouraging self-organization and continuous improvement.

  • Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve blockers swiftly, helping the team maintain focus on achieving sprint goals.

  • Ensure Delivery Readiness: Support the transition from development to launch by coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring all components are aligned.

  • Enhance Team Performance: Monitor team velocity, help optimize processes, and support effective workflow.

  • Align Objectives: Liaise with senior leadership to sync sprint outcomes with the broader mission of educational innovation and social impact.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience as a Project Manager Scrum Master or agile coach—especially in early-stage or mission-driven tech environments.

  • Skilled in facilitating agile ceremonies, resolving impediments, and fostering team collaboration.

  • Excellent communicator and servant-leader with a knack for aligning stakeholders and empowering team members.

  • Comfortable working remotely with strong self-motivation and organisational discipline.

  • Passionate about education, social impact, and improving learning through innovative technology. Experience in EdTech or related “Tech for Good” sectors is highly desirable.

Additional Information

  • Flexible engagement—approximately 10 hours per week for 3-months, with key sprint rituals and stakeholder meetings scheduled accordingly.

  • Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)—occasional in-person sessions may be scheduled for strategic planning.
