Kewordal (https://kewordal.com) is an innovative social education platform designed to connect learners and educators in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Our users create "Kewordal lists" to improve their academic results while building social learning communities of friends, peers, teachers, and mentors (via the support of businesses), to enhance their prospects for success. We have recently concluded a successful testing/MVP period and are currently implementing exciting updates to our site, preparing for launch in the coming months.
We are now seeking a talented Financial Broker/Fundraiser, to join our mission of connecting businesses with educational innovation and learners worldwide. What You'll Do
As Financial Broker/Fundraiser, you'll:

Financial & Fundraising Responsibilities:

Raise finance on terms commensurate to the rapidly growing AI and EdTech market, with particular focus on regions investing heavily in education transformation

Understand the strong influences that AI, ESG, CSR, corporate and commercial sponsorship of learners and institutions will play in our product to aid your fundraising
-
Ensure that the company has the key documentation in place and fit for securing short and longer-term finance from diverse international markets

Confidently articulate to potential investors the exponential growth potential of the platform and its alignment with global education modernisation initiatives
-
Present projections that illustrate excellent returns by Year 5, particularly appealing to investors focused on education sector transformation

Support the CEO by demonstrating your commitment to our vision of building a global education social learning network that supports international education goals
Partnership & Strategic Development (Finance-Focused):

Develop strategic relationships with potential corporate investors and strategic partners who could provide funding, particularly those aligned with education transformation initiatives

Build and maintain C-suite relationships with key stakeholders who have investment decision-making authority in education-focused sectors
-
Identify and cultivate partnerships that could lead to funding opportunities or investment rounds, especially with investors prioritising education innovation

Leverage corporate ESG and CSR initiatives as pathways to secure strategic investment or funding commitments from organisations supporting education advancement

Structure partnership agreements that include financial investment components aligned with international education development goals
-
Collaborate with senior leadership to present compelling investment cases to potential funders interested in global education impact

Develop funding performance metrics and provide strategic insights to the executive team on fundraising progress across different markets

Represent Kewordal at investor events, funding conferences, and high-level meetings with potential financial backers focused on education sector investment

Essential Requirements:

An outstanding Financial Broker/Fundraiser positioned in key circles for raising significant investment over several rounds

Strong investor network and understanding of funding landscapes, particularly in education-focused investment sectors

Senior-level experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate relations
-
Understanding of EdTech, AI, ESG, CSR and social network products market trends
-
Experience with global market scaling and products with exponential growth potential

Strategic financial planning expertise with international market awareness

Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
-
Deep understanding of either AI, EdTech, social networks, ESG, CSR, or the Tech for Good landscape

Advanced negotiation and relationship-building abilities at C-suite level

Strategic thinking and ability to structure complex partnership frameworks

Self-motivated leader with ability to work remotely and drive results across different time zones

Professional approach to senior-level business communications in international contexts

Connected to businesses and investors at the "decision-making" level, with the ability to get in front of the right decision-makers quickly

Access to family offices and the Middle East for investment, particularly those aligned with education transformation initiatives

Experience working with international investors focused on education sector development

Understanding of Middle Eastern education investment landscapes and sovereign wealth fund priorities

Flexible working arrangement, approximately 10-15 hours per week initially
